Learn about the academic program at New Creations.
Boarding school students attend New Creations Christian School 180 days per year, with the option to attend an additional 6 weeks of summer school as needed.
Upon admission, each student is evaluated using the Wide Range Achievement Test (WRAT-3) and a Language Arts & Mathematics Placement Test. Our educators use the results of these tests as well as a review of transcripts to develop an individual academic program for every student based on their academic needs & ability.
Students are placed on one of the following tracts:
- Advanced Course of Study (AP/Honors)
- College Preparatory
- General Course of Study
- Vocational Course of Study
Students who come to us short in credits have the opportunity to accelerate credits in order to graduate on time or even ahead of schedule in some cases. We have had several students complete two years of high school in a single year.
Our courses emphasize skills building and hold students to a high level of achievement. Students must complete all course work to 80% accuracy in order to earn school credit.
