RULES FOR RESIDENT’S ON VISITS
All New Creation’s rules remain in effect throughout the visit. Your child is told this. The only exception would be they are permitted to wear colored clothes, and girls are allowed to wear make-up and jewelry on the visit. However, she/he must not wear colored clothes, jewelry, or make-up if coming on NCC property, unless she/he is the appropriate level.
Here are a few reminders: Your child needs to be supervised at all times, regardless of their current level. Your child should show you, other adults, and other people in general their due respect at all times. There should be no fighting. They should not self-mutilate in any way. Rules for communication with the opposite sex are as follows:
- Level 1C – 2C: No communication of any kind with the opposite sex. This includes opposite sex family members unless they are children. They are not allowed to have phone calls from the opposite sex, no dating, and no 1 on 1 time whatsoever.
- Level 2B – 2A: They may talk with the opposite sex in groups that are supervised by an adult. They are not allowed to have phone calls from the opposite sex, no dating, and no 1 on 1 time whatsoever.
- Level 3’s: Are allowed 1 on 1 time with the opposite sex with parent’s approval.
No student, regardless of level, is to have any communication with any other resident of the opposite sex. Girls are free to call other girl residents, guys are free to call other guy residents. No cigarettes, alcohol, drugs, or sex. Residents should not have any communication with any old, “bad” friends.
In addition, parents, it’s a good idea to carefully supervise phone calls, nobody wants a phone bill for hundreds of dollars (which has happened to other parents in the past). In addition, stamps (for letter writing) and loose money (for phones) are probably a little too tempting for some residents, as these are great ways to communicate with the opposite sex and hard for parents to find out.
