How does our program run and why are we
effective in changing young people's lives?
When some of our boarding school students arrive, they
are completely out of control: breaking the law, swearing, smoking, doing drugs,
skipping school, running away, sexually active, etc. When they come here,
they must be retrained. The entry level students are placed under
immediate, complete control-law. Then the training process can begin.
Just as a newly born baby requires total control-law with
gradual decreases, so do our new students. As the child learns and matures
during our program, then the control-law decreases, and the teaching of God's Spirit
increases. When a child reaches 12-15 years of age, the control-law and
teaching God's Spirit facets of his life are approximately equal. When a
student has been at New Creations for approximately 12-18 months and has reached
2A or 3C, the control-law and teaching God's Spirit facets of his life should be
approximately equal.
Our students are then functioning at a 12-15 year age
level. When a student's functional age reaches his actual age, he should
be ready to return home. The student should not leave until he has
stabilized on the level 60-180 days. The student should leave at a
scheduled break time (i.e. Mid-Terms, Christmas, or at the end of the school
year). This is best for the student to receive all of his earned credits
and to help with stability. This has been proven effective and practical.
What is the Level System?
Our Boarding School uses a level system that motivates and reflects the
progress of students. Here you can view the description of each level and know
what to expect when choosing to enroll your child into our program:

Hi! My name is Jordan Dwinell and WOW! Do I have a
testimony! I’m 14 years old and I’ve been at New Creations for six
months. Before I came here I struggled with arguing with my parents,
running away, and surrounding my life with boys. When I came here, I did
the exact same things…just worse. I wouldn’t go a day without fight with
the dorm ministers, and I got myself a really bad anger problem. I
talked to the boys any chance I got, and hurt a lot of people. I made a
big hole for myself and tried to get out of it many times, but never
could. I finally realized the reason why I couldn’t get out of the hole
was because I was trying to do it myself, when I needed to go to God to
help me. Now that I have done that, things have gone so much better for
me. I’m listening to the dorm ministers, and getting my relationship
better with the Lord and those around me! I’m believing that God has the
right man for me, and am being patient, and I’m working things out with
my mom and dad so I can go home. I still struggle with things, but God
is helping me work through them so I can grow to be the woman God wants
me to be. Please pray for me.

What’s up, folks! My name is Joe Curry. I am
from Gary, Indiana. Before I came here I w as skipping school, taking my
mom’s car, and not doing what I was supposed to do. I was fighting at
school a lot, arguing with my mama, and I was always talking on the
phone with girls when I should have been doing homework. I had bad
grades in school. My family did not like me because of the way I was
acting. I did not care about what I did, said, or anything. But, now
that I have been here at New Creations for nine months, I have come
closer to God and I now realize what I did that got me here and how much
I love my mama and family. I now realize that Jesus is the Way, and I
ask for forgiveness from God, my mama, and my family. I am a changed
young man, ready for God’s calling on my life.
