How long is the the program?
Our program is 12 to 15 months long. Normally, teen behavior doesn't start overnight, and it will take some time for new behaviors to begin and then to become a habit.
Is New Creations a coed facility?
Yes, we have both a girl's home and a boy's home at our facility. The students are kept separate the majority of the time. We have separate schedules for eating times and break times as well as separate classrooms and dormitories. When there is a coed event, there is plenty of supervision to keep the male & female students separated.
What part do I play as a parent?
We ask that parents attend a parent meeting every 60 days. The meetings normally are scheduled at the same time as a parent visit for the student. You can expect to allocate several hours of your time for parent training and/or counseling sessions.
Will my teen be supervised at all times?
Yes, we have staffing for the residents 24 hours each day.

What are the sleeping arrangements?
We have dormitory style housing with adequate privacy for each teen.
Is New Creations Boarding School an accredited school?
New Creations Christian School is accredited by the International Christian Accrediting Association, which is recognized by the Indiana department of Education.
My student is behind academically, can he/she catch up?
Yes, we utilize a computer based curriculum called Switched on Schoolhouse. It is a self-paced program that allows much flexibility for us to tailor design each student's education plan. For students that are not academically behind, we can challenge them with advanced studies according to their abilities.
How much does the program cost at New Creations Boarding School?
Our program cost is $2,500.00 per month. On the intake day, there is an initial cost of approximately $1200.00 plus the first month's tuition. The initial fee covers the cost of schoolbooks, uniforms, and registration fees.
How quickly can I get my teen enrolled at New Creations Boarding School?
The majority of the time it can be done in two and four days.
Will my teen be influenced inappropriately by other students?
We find that teens have been exposed to most if not all behaviors. Positive peer pressure is a very effective tool in our program. Teens are influenced greatly by their peers, so we have a program that helps the students learn to be strong among their peers to add to their ability to succeed when they finish the program.
Does New Creations Boarding School have organized sports?
Yes, we have organized volleyball and basketball for females and basketball for males.

How does your program run and why is it effective in changing young people's lives?
At New Creations, we thrive on relationships in a privileged based system. We expect to establish guidelines for a relationship within the first few weeks of arrival. We do not desire to become the parent; however, we will take on the roll of caregiver.
Just as a newly born baby requires 24 hour care and a strict schedule that gradually becomes more laid back, so do our new students. As the student learns and matures during our program, then the privilege level increases, and the teaching of God's Spirit increases. When a child reaches 12-15 years of age, the control-law and teaching God's Spirit facets of their life are approximately equal. When a student has been at New Creations for aproximately 12-15 months and has reached level 2A or 3C, the structure, discipline and teaching God's Spirit facets of their life should be aproximately equal.
Our students are then functioning at a 12-15 year age level. When a student's functional age reaches his actual age, he should be ready to return home. The student should not leave until he has stabilized on the level 60-180 days. The student should leave at a scheduled break time (i.e. Mid-Terms, Christmas, or at the end of the school year). This is best for the student to receive all of their earned credits and to help with stability. This has been proven effective and practical.
