Making the decision to send your student to a boarding school can be stressful. Let’s face it – you are preparing to send your prize possession to a strange place, with people you don’t know, and are not sure you can trust.
I always suggest that parents visit our school if feasible prior to bringing their student to reside here. I also suggest this in the event you decide against sending your student to any boarding school. You will get a great understanding what boarding school is all about along with a view from insiders.
Our visit policy is such that we send parents on a campus tour with current residents who will enlighten them regarding their reasons for being placed; parents will hear what current students like the most and vice versa and everything in between. Parents also get the chance to meet the dorm, kitchen, school, and administrative staff. We desire the parents to get a “feel” for how and why we do what we do, which helps put to ease your fears. We are a structured, disciplined, yet kind and nurturing organization that is Christ centered.
