One of the common questions parents ask when they call for help is related to the subject of a coed facility. Why would a good parent who has a daughter or son who has trouble with the opposite sex send them to a Christian boarding school that has the opposite sex attending.

At New Creations we keep them separate at all times with the exception of church and special events. They have separate eating schedules, separate classrooms, separate break times, and of course separate dorms. We desire the students to learn appropriate relational skills and boundaries with the opposite sex. Those students who do well earn the privilege to have supervised conversation and time with the opposite gender.

This is one of the keys in re-teaching appropriate relational skills between the oposite sex ~ interaction. You want your son or daughter to learn new skills not just in theory but practically. New Creations not only addresses the issue and teaches new skills but desires to put the student into minimal practical application. This approach, we believe, is superior to a single gender boarding school in order for the best growth to take place in your son or daughter.
